I am working on several projects at the moment. One is a Christmas knitting project: It’s the Irish Hiking Scarf that everybody and their mother has made, and I am now catching up. It’s going to be for my grandfather. I’m using Red Heart Super Saver (I know! I know!) in Fleck. Hey, it’s my first attempt at cabling, and I have been using a cable needle, but I just went through the needle-less cables tutorial and I think may give it a whirl.

I’m also working on a toddler jacket from Debbie Bliss’s book “Cotton Knits for All Seasons”. I’ll post pictures later (camera battery died). It’s the baby reefer jacket, but I’m using some scrap Bernat worsted weight yarn. I have a slight addiction to knitting needles and yarn, and I made a vow to myself that I would try to use up the yarn that I already have instead of buying more. And more. So anyway, this jacket will probably turn out to fit a one-year-old better than a baby.
