I spun up 2 oz of this roving and have a full spindle of it. I think what I’ve decided to do is remove it to my niddy-noddy and then set the yarn as a single ply…and try to knit something with it, like a scarf. I want to see what it does and see how much it “leans”. Besides, I don’t have a spindle large enough to accomodate plying it right now.
Knitting
I meant to take a pic of my progress with Sesame, but just didn’t get around to it. I’m working the last decreases of the sleeves, so I think I can finish up the sleeves in one more knitting session. Then all that’s left is the collar, the button bands, and seaming. Please, oh please turn out good!
Cute Puppy

It still looks very pretty. I’ll bet it knits up very nicely.
That is gorgeous! I need that roving, being the pink addict that I am. Where ever did you get it?
I just started teaching myself spindle spinning. I had the same experience with you…first time was bad and then I learned drafting. What a huge difference.
