Some progress shots with the knitting:
This is my Catriona vest…I’m modifying the shoulders so it doesn’t end up looking linebacker-ish…just decreasing about 10 or 12 stitches around the armhole. Hopefully this works out the way I envision it.

Finished drying, very bright and vivid colors. I used a higher flyer speed ratio this time, I think it’s a comfortable speed for me and I’ll stick with it for my next project.
Handdyed falkland: 4 oz, 270 yards, 14 wpi (about sportweight)

Started the Bertie Scarf, using my own handspun. It’s Ruby Twist from coppermoose, spun at an average worsted weight so I’m using US7 needles. I have about 390 yards of this color. I have a pic of the spinning wheel that the B Man is building. He got curious one day and decided he wanted to build one. So I bought the plans, it’s the “No Lathe Saxony Style Spinning Wheel” booklet. It has been modified and it seems to be coming along.
